Cool people: Actually we thought that the market would be dominated by affluent ,highly educated, people making $200,000 or more per year. But to our surprise, our clients have included the rich, affluent, and educated, from the big cities, as well as workers, farmers, ranchers, dairymen, plumbers, electricians and people whohave been thinking about energy savings for years.

Sure, but first you need to do a lot of planning so you can be sure it’s not a bad idea:

Where can you put it - you need detailed information about the winds at that location which if unavailable could require a lengthy survey.
How big - the location will dictate the size of the wind turbine that can practically be installed for optimal power generation - low wind speeds could require several small ones or ones of more unorthodox design.
Who can you sell to - this varies highly between countries but depending on location you might have to pay for the link to the grid, transformer or other fees. For small scale production this could be quite a hassle for the utility and they could use bureaucracy to delay or even decline your link to the grid.
Other - aside from the above you will need to deal with a lot of tiny but crucial details - what model, which supplier, who will install it, what are the upkeep requirements, could it violate some local regulation about noise or wildlife, details in the contract with the utility, etc.
